Correct Document Format
Use an eligible state-certified corporate record or a properly notarized original, depending on the document.
Florida corporate document apostille
Apostille service for eligible Florida corporate and business records used abroad. Upload a scan first—we review the document before payment and confirm whether it needs a certified copy, notarization, or another route.
No payment is required for the initial document review. Please do not mail the certified document before receiving your Order ID and mailing instructions.
Quick answer
Yes—if the document follows the correct Florida route. Public corporate records generally need an original certified copy or Certificate of Status. Private business documents may need proper Florida notarization. A plain Sunbiz printout or ordinary photocopy is not enough.
Use an eligible state-certified corporate record or a properly notarized original, depending on the document.
Upload a clear scan first so we can check the document type, certification, visible signatures, and next step.
The destination country and receiving authority decide which corporate record, issue date, translation, and legalization path they require.
Corporate and LLC records
Eligibility depends on who issued or signed the document, where it was issued or notarized, and the destination country. We review the exact document before filing.
The most important distinction
Florida does not prepare every business document the same way. The correct route depends on whether the document is a public state record or a privately created company document.
Articles, amendments, dissolution records and similar filings generally require an original certified copy issued by the Florida Division of Corporations. A Certificate of Status is itself an official state record.
Resolutions, bylaws, operating agreements, board minutes and commercial agreements may follow a notarized-document route when signed and properly notarized in Florida.

Frequent business-document question
Not always. A Florida-certified corporate filing or Certificate of Status generally follows the public-record route and should not be re-notarized. A private corporate document may require proper Florida notarization before it can be apostilled.
Transparent options
Choose Standard or Priority after document review. Both advertised options include the Florida apostille government fee and standard U.S. return shipping for one eligible Florida business document.
Time-sensitive documents
Estimated turnaround: about 2 weeks
Non-urgent documents
Estimated turnaround: 4–6 weeks
Timing
Priority processing is estimated at about two weeks, while Standard processing is estimated at 4–6 weeks. Estimates begin after the eligible original is received and may change because of government workload, document issues, holidays, mailing, and delivery conditions.
Avoid preventable delays
Business-document requests are often delayed because the wrong version, issuing state, certification or notarial certificate was used.
An ordinary online printout is not the original certified copy required for a public corporate record.
A foreign bank may want a Certificate of Status while a registry may request certified Articles. They are not interchangeable.
A private document may fail when the notarial statement, venue, signature, stamp or seal is missing.
Florida ordinarily cannot apostille a corporate record issued by another state.
Missing signature pages, exhibits or certification sheets can create filing or acceptance problems.
A non-Hague destination may require authentication and consular legalization instead of an apostille.
Cross-border business
A foreign bank, registry, regulator, attorney or business partner may request authenticated evidence of a Florida company's formation, status or signing authority.
Registering a Florida corporation or LLC to conduct business in another country.
Opening or updating a corporate bank account and completing compliance review.
Showing who may sign, represent or act for the company.
Supporting cross-border agreements, financing, real-estate or commercial transactions.
Providing company records for foreign licensing, bids or regulatory filings.
Authenticating formation, status or authority records during corporate review.
Destination-country review
Enter the country where the Florida business document will be used. A foreign registry, bank or regulator may specify the exact corporate record, issue date, translation and legalization route.
Certified translation available
The Florida apostille process does not decide the foreign authority's language requirements. The receiving bank, registry, regulator or attorney may request translation of the corporate record, the apostille certificate, or both.
Certified translation of Articles, certificates, resolutions, agreements or other requested company records.
The receiving authority may also request translation of the attached apostille certificate.
Confirm whether translation should happen before or after apostille and whether notarization is required.
